My husband prefers fall and winter to the heat of summer and isn't too thrilled when it takes 7 hours to fly to Europe so do you have any idea how difficult it is to convince said husband that he needs and wants to go to Kenya? I've been trying for years and it is proving to be impossible!!

Why Kenya? How could any sane person pass up the opportunity for a stay at Giraffe Manor? Yeah yeah, I hear you..."go visit the local zoo." Can you have breakfast with a giraffe at the local zoo?? NO!! Can a giraffe visit with you in your bedroom at the local zoo?? NO!! Can you feed a giraffe at the local zoo?? Welllll, ok...at some of them maybe, but not up close and personal with no barriers!

Husband tells wife he's only thinking of her, if there is a giraffe poking its head in a bedroom window she won't get any sleep (what he really means is he won't) and if she feeds her breakfast/lunch/dinner to the giraffes she will be constantly hungry. (interpreted as 'you'll eat mine and I'll go hungry) Loving wife excitedly explains how this would be the trip of a lifetime!!! A wild life reserve, fantastic photography opportunities, new and exciting birds to discover, a whole new culture and country to learn about and experience. As wife pauses to take a breath, husband quickly asks... "And what is this going to cost???" Wife throws hands up in the air in despair and knows she's just lost her dream vacation......

....for now!!
