Way back when I thought graphic programs were all about 'cookie cutter frames' I discovered PhotoImpact...downloaded a trial version and was thrilled with all the different frames available. I was disappointed when I couldn't find it in any stores here in Canada and thought I'd have to start looking for another program. Allan travels to the US quite a bit, found it and surprised me on my birthday. Now that I had the program I knew it was time to find out what it could do.
After searching the internet I found The Beginner's Workshop.....96 tutorials, a group of talented and encouraging mentors and it was free!!
Shortly after completing the workshop I was asked if I would be interested in mentoring, now after 4+ years I still feel honoured to be part of such a wonderful group of women!!
Through the workshop I was introduced to
PhotoImpact International (PII), a communtiy of PI users from around the world. Full of encouragement, helpful suggestions and always ready for fun this world-wide family is always ready to offer their friendship to new members.
If you would like to see one of our community projects and have a few hours to spare why don't you check out PIRCville,

Another happy discovery through PII has been Visual Arts Academy, an online school offering an extensive line-up of online classes at a very reasonalbe cost. I have taken several classes and have enjoyed them all!!
